In therapy, I see our work as building a home inside you. Together, we are the carpenters, clearing out old walls that no longer keep you safe and rebuilding rooms that feel steady, warm, and truly yours. This inner home becomes a place where your thoughts, feelings, and sense of self can finally rest.
I support teens and adults who are juggling a lot at once: school, work, caregiving, and relationships that may be loving yet stressful. Many of my clients appear “fine” on the outside but feel tired, worried, or not good enough on the inside. In our sessions, we slow down and create space for your full story, including the impact of culture, race, family expectations, and identity.
Together, we explore habits, routines, and thought patterns that once helped you survive but may now be getting in your way. With patience and clear, supportive steps, we practice new ways of thinking and coping so you can feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your choices. Over time, we strengthen what is already solid within you and gently rebuild the parts that feel shaky.
I am a graduate intern in the Mental Health Counseling program at Hunter College, working under the close supervision of a licensed clinician. At Hope Springs Psychotherapy, I offer both self-pay sessions and sessions for clients using Aetna insurance, creating space for individuals and couples who are ready to invest in their emotional well-being. If you are a high school or college student, a young professional, a parent, or a couple balancing many roles, I would be honored to work with you as you build a more stable, caring inner home.
